A Commitment To Excellence
To employees, visiting salesmen, especially new employees and
salesmen making their first visit, we extend a WARM WELCOME. We

The Purchasing Department is the central buying agency for the
City of Kingsville. The department is headed by the Purchasing
Director who is under the supervision of the City Manager.
Bidders Lists
The Purchasing Department maintains a listing of vendors
classified according to materials, supplies and services. Your
firm may be placed on these lists upon applications by letter,
telephone, in person or by clicking on the "Bid Registration"
form.
Samples
When samples are requested with bids, they are held until after
award is made. Vendors submitting a sample of their product for
trial use, must do so at no cost to the City. All samples
submitted shall be clearly marked.
Taxes
The City of Kingsville is exempt from all Federal Excise Taxes
and the State of Texas Limited Sales Excise and Use Tax.
Exemption certificates will be executed by the Purchasing
Director upon request when supported by an authorized purchase
order number.
