Abandoned Vehicle:
(1) Is inoperable, is more than five years old, and has been left unattended on public property for more than 48 hours;
(2) Has remained illegally on public property for more than 48 hours;
(3) Has remained on private property without the consent of the owner or person in charge of the property for more than 48 hours;
(4) Has been left unattended on the right-of-way of a designated county, state, or federal highway for more than 48 hours;
(5) Has been left unattended for more than 24 hours on the right-of-way of a turnpike project constructed and maintained by the Texas Turnpike Authority division of the Texas Department of Transportation or a controlled access highway; or
(6) Is considered an abandoned motor vehicle under TEX. TRANS. CODE, ' 644.153(r).

White Goods/ Bulky Items
Old stoves, water heaters, refrigerators, washers and dryers, couches, sofas and mattresses and other bulky material.

Trash and Debris Accumulation
Trash is any materials which tend to decay such as: animal or vegetable waste materials and/or residue form the handling, preparation, cooking, or consumption of food, including waste materials from markets, storage facilities, and the handling and sale of produce and other foods. Debris is any materials such as: solid waste including, paper towels, bottles/cans, cartons, plastics, glass, crockery, etc.

Structurally Unsound Fence
Damaged fences are:
  • Adjacent to the right-of-way
  • Leaning 18 degrees or more
  • Rotting, fire damaged, severely bent posts, or missing significant portion of slats
Trees overhanging into street
Trees need to be trimmed so that the lowest branch or twig is at least 13 feet above the ground.

Hazardous Material
Paint, gas, Freon, Tires, explosives, etc.

Junked Vehicles
A junked vehicle is a vehicle that is self-propelled and:
  • Does not have lawfully attached to it:
  • An unexpired license plate; or
  • A valid motor vehicle inspection certificate; and
  • Wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled, or discarded; or
  • Inoperable and has remained inoperable for more than:
  • Seventy-two consecutive hours, if the vehicle is on public property or public right-of-way; or
  • Thirty consecutive days, if the vehicle is on private property.
