The Path to a Cleaner and Safe Kingsville
The Department wants to enhance neighborhoods and their citizens' health, safety
and general welfare through efficient and effective City code enforcement. All
actions shall be conducted in a responsive and fair manner focusing on customer
service and public awareness while respecting the property rights of our
citizens.
Common Code Violations
The City of Kingsville codes are intended to benefit everyone while making
our neighborhoods safe, strong and attractive. Compliance with standards an

WEEDS AND GRASS
Weeds and grass over 18 inches in height is a violation. Property owners are
responsible for keeping their lawns mowed to the roadway and the center of their
adjacent alley.

ILLEGAL SIGNS
Signs are not permitted on utility poles. Signs must be posted behind sidewalks
and are not allowed within the right-of-way.

JUNKED AND ABANDONED VEHICLES
Any vehicle which is visible from public view that is inoperable for 30 days,
wrecked or dismantled, and is not registered or licensed is considered a junked
vehicle. |

that have deteriorated and/or missing structural members, is an improper state

is unsafe and deleterious to the livability of a neighborhood. |
