Health Inspectors conduct food sanitation classes and issues food handler cards. Classes for food handler cards areheld twice a month, three times within the day. One can call the City/County Office to acquire the date when the classes are offered or click on Food Handler's Classes. The inspectors conduct on-site reviews of all restaurants, bars, cafeterias, retail food service establishments, temporary food service and bake sales events ensuring compliance with state and local food sanitation ordinances and regulations. This department also inspects daycares, foster homes and schools.
