The City-County Health Unit rates the food establishment scores based on a demerit system. The demerit system and the inspection form is used in accordance with the Department of State Health services.

0-10 demerits = Excellent
11-20 demerits = Good
21-30 demerits = Acceptable
31 or more = Poor
