Adopt a Truck Program

As a citizen of the City of Kingsville, you have the opportunity to adopt  a city brush truck overnight at a minimal cost to you. The City provides a brush truck rental program to allow any resident with utility services to use a city brush truck overnight or over a normal weekend to fill up with select types of refuse or brush. The Adopt-A-Truck Program is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.  You may contact Utility Billing at 200 East Kleberg, or by calling 361-592-5281 or 361-595-8028 for availability if you wish to adopt a truck.

The following rates apply:

• Charge:  Residential - $12.99 (includes tax)
• Commercial Businesses - $36.05 (includes tax)

Items allowed on city brush trucks are as follows:

• Clean brush
• Lumber, roofing, and construction materials only (no liquid, no concrete with rebar, no dirt, no large rocks, no asbestos, no tires)
• Metals only
  

You may contact Utility Billing at 361-592-5281 or 361-595-8028 or go by 200 East Kleberg (Water Department) to sign up for the Adopt-A-Truck Program.

Notes:

• Mixed items will be removed and place back into resident's property.
• Trucks will not be rented over any holiday or any holiday weekend.
