⚠️ We have an increase of 24 active COVID-19 cases in eight days. Texas Department of State Health Services is reporting 14 additional COVID-19 cases and 10 probable cases confirmed since March 10th. The state is no longer tracking individuals removed from isolation so we will no longer have an active case count to provide. We will provide a monthly confirmed case count. In the month of March the state confirmed 44 COVID-19 cases and 51 probable COVID-19 cases. We also have 1 additional COVID related death to report for the year. The death occurred February 28th.

🧫 *FREE* COVID-19 PCR testing is available THROUGH SUNDAY at the fixed testing site located at 3421 N. FM 1355 at the City of Kingsville Health Department Animal Control & Care Center. The site will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Starting Monday insurance is required for free testing at the site. Low cost testing will be available for those uninsured.

👩‍⚕️ CHRISTUS Spohn Kleberg is currently reporting 0 patients requiring hospitalization for COVID-19.

💉 Vaccines are available at the Kleberg County Fixed Vaccination Clinic Monday through Friday starting at 9 a.m. and going through 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays the clinic will remain open until 7 p.m. for more accessibility. They are FREE. Both Pfizer & Moderna are offered. The address is 1724 S. Brahma Boulevard. CVS, Walgreens, HEB and Mendoza’s Pharmacy also offer vaccines at no cost.
