The City of Kingsville Street Dept will begin road reconstruction on E Yoakum Ave between N 15th St and N 17th St in the morning, August 28th,2025 at 7:30 am. E Yoakum Ave between N 15th St and N 17th St will be closed to thru traffic for approximately 3 weeks, barring inclement weather or equipment breakdown, while this road reconstruction will be taking place. Barricades and signs will be in place.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please know that our crews will be working diligently to reopen the area(s)/road(s) as soon as possible. We request that all residents and businesses in this area be aware that delays will be possible as far as entrances and exits from properties are concerned. 
The Kingsville Police Department and the Kingsville Fire Department have been notified of this project. We appreciate your cooperation in assisting us with improving your roadway.
