The City of Kingsville’s Building Services primary responsibility is to inspect newly constructed/remodeled and existing buildings as well as the various utilities that comprise each (electrical systems, plumbing and mechanical) to insure that minimum standards are upheld to safeguard the safety and welfare of our citizens’ lives and health.

These responsibilities are upheld through the regulation and control of the construction practices, designs, material quality, location and most importantly, the maintenance of all structures located within Kingsville. We provide the necessary information to our citizens regarding building and living standardizations. We also provide inspection services, which fall under public ordinances to assure that the highest quality of our citizens’ health, safety and welfare are satisfied.

The Building Services Department also inspects and reviews construction projects to ensure that practices are proceeding according to approved plans as well as conditions of approval.
