The City–County Health Unit is in charge of administering the on-site sewage facility (OSSF) program within Kingsville and the greater Kleberg County. A construction permit must be obtained prior to the installation of any on-site sewage facility.
All requests for an on-site sewage facility can be granted by first completing and submitting the application found in the links below. All planning materials and applicable fees must also be submitted by the homeowner or installer along with the application as per the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Health & Safety Code Chapter 366 and Chapter 285 of the Texas Administration Code. Prior to the issuance of a permit, to operate the facility, an inspection of the facility must be conducted. Forty eight (48) working hours notification is required.
